Inspired by a true story, Lullaby tells the tale of a refugee who is haunted by a devastating incident from her past.
Lullaby had it’s world premiere at SXSW in March 2024, where played in competition in the Midnight strand. It has since being nominated for the Méliès d’argent four-times over and was awarded Best Short Film at the Asian World Film Festival.

Lullaby is produced by Last Conker. A production company founded & helmed by award winning British Vietnamese filmmaker & Screen International Screen Star of Tomorrow, Chi Thai. Her recent credits includes adaptation of the award winning New York Times Best Illustrated Book of the Year, The Promise, by Nicola Davies & Laura Carlin for the BBC, Netflix Original, Little Miss Sumo, the RTS nominated VR feature, IF, & Automat, a one-off drama for Sky. She is also the co-founder of the screening label, MilkTea & the producer of the SXSW Grand Jury winning feature, Raging Grace.
In 2021, she co-authored alongside Delphine Lievens The Exclusion Act, a report published by Sir Lenny Henry Diversity in Media Centres EDI Journal: Representology, that uses data driven research to share insight & evidence to the film industry on where inclusion of British East & Southeast Asians is failing.
