Last Conker is a British independent film & television company. We love genre. We love the stories that unravel from the complex web of diaspora. We love urgent voices that tell of a fairer & greener future.

We were awarded a BFI Vision Award in 2020 & selected for the UK Global Screen Fund & BBC Small Indies Fund in 2023.

Our latest film, Raging Grace launched at SXSW 2023 where it was awarded the festival’s highest honours: Grand Jury Prizes for Best Film in Competition & Best Debut. Raging Grace is written & directed by Paris Zarcilla & was recently nominated for two BIFA awards: Best Breakthrough Producer & Raindance Maverick. Raging Grace has sold to major territories and recently was released theatrically in North America & the UK.

Raging Grace's heady blend of horror, history, & midnight humour announces the arrival of an exciting new filmmaking talent in writer-director Paris Zarcilla. The story of a Filipina house cleaner & her young daughter confronting Britain's racial & class divides, Raging Grace is both frank & elusive, a film that subverts expectations on its way to a stirring conclusion. In cleverly employing genre tropes to explore vast socio-political matters, Zarcilla has crafted a resonant, urgent work about labour, legacy, & diaspora.”

Titles in development include the Not Booker Prize winning novel Dark Chapter by Winnie M. Li, & the Carnegie Medal nominated science fiction novel Boy in the Tower by Polly Ho-Yen.
